> Short answer: A marble business does not sell pieces — it sells square feet cut from slabs, with wastage on every cut and balances stretching for months. Marble & granite software in Pakistan tracks slab stock in sq ft, records cutting wastage per job, and follows customer balances until the last rupee. It costs Rs 1,499 a month with a 15-day free trial, no card.
Marble & Granite Business Software in Pakistan (2026)
Marble markets — from Lahore's Multan Road to the Manghopir yards of Karachi — run on a special kind of math. You buy slabs in square feet, cut them into pieces nobody measured in advance, lose 10–15% to cutting and breakage, and sell to a contractor who pays half now and "next month" for the rest. Try keeping that in a register and your hisab will never match. This business needs software that thinks in square feet, not pieces.
Slabs, not pieces
Your stock is not "20 slabs." It is "20 slabs of Sunny Grey, 187 sq ft each, 3,740 sq ft total." Every sale cuts from that total. The software tracks:
- Slab-wise stock in sq ft — each lot entered with its measured area; every cut reduces it
- Cutting records per job — customer ordered 900 sq ft of flooring; the cutter used 1,020 sq ft of slab; 120 sq ft went to wastage and offcuts
- Offcut tracking — those leftover pieces are not garbage; small offcuts become kitchen platforms and vanity tops. Recorded offcuts get sold instead of forgotten in a corner
- Rate per sq ft by quality — A-grade, B-grade and commercial rates stored separately, so billing never mixes them up
When a customer argues "itna wastage kyun aya," you show the cutting record instead of arguing from memory.
Customer balances that stretch for months
A contractor orders marble for a full house: Rs 850,000. He pays Rs 300,000 advance, Rs 300,000 on delivery, and the rest "after the client's payment comes." Three months later your register says he owes Rs 250,000 but nobody remembers which deliveries are unpaid.
The software keeps one running account per customer: every slab delivered adds up, every payment — cash, bank transfer, or cheque — reduces it, and you see the exact outstanding at any moment. Dokan band karte waqt you know precisely who owes what, instead of flipping through 40 pages.
Wastage is where profit hides
Most marble dealers guess their wastage at "around 10%." The ones who measure it discover the truth: one cutter wastes 9%, another wastes 17%. That 8% gap on Rs 50 lakh of yearly cutting is Rs 4 lakh walking out the door. Per-job wastage records show you which cutter, which stone, and which job types eat your margin. Fix the worst one and the software has paid for a decade.

Frequently asked questions
My slabs are irregular. How do I enter stock?
Enter each lot with its measured square footage — length × width of usable stone. The software does not need perfect rectangles; it needs the total sq ft you paid for. Every cut deducts from that total.
Can it handle both marble and granite in one system?
Yes. Stone types, grades and rates are all separate masters. Sunny Marble at Rs 180/sq ft and Black Granite at Rs 450/sq ft live in the same stock list without mixing, and reports can split or combine them.
What about labour charges for cutting and fixing?
Add cutting, polishing and fixing as service lines on the same bill. You see material profit and labour income separately, which matters because labour rates change with every job.
I give material to mistris on credit. Is that tracked?
Every mistri or contractor gets his own account. Material issued adds to his balance; payments reduce it. You will know at a glance which contractor's balance is growing past the safe point.
Do I need a computer at the yard, or will a phone work?
A phone works for checking stock and balances; billing is more comfortable on a laptop or tablet at the counter. Most dealers keep a small tablet at the desk and check balances on their phone when they are at the yard in Peshawar or out on a site visit.
